Responsibilities
- Take orders: Receive orders online, by phone, or in person
- Manage inventory: Keep track of cake and icing inventory
- Prepare icing: Stock decopacs and prepare icing
- Decorate cakes: Decorate cakes according to design standards
- Provide customer service: Work with guests and team members
- Maintain displays: Maintain the freezer and refrigerated showcase
- Fill orders: Fill customer special orders and make cakes ahead for pickup
- Follow procedures: Follow sanitation procedures and health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Experience in a bakery is preferred
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Good organizational skills
- Demonstrates artistic ability
- Exhibits excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
