BHD Test and Measurement is an ISO 17025 accredited calibration lab in Thornton, Colorado and an authorized stocking distributor of industrial test equipment such as Fluke, Megger, Ralston, Mitutoyo, AEMC, and more. BHDTM keeps a large fleet of high voltage rental equipment at its Thornton warehouse.
Role:
As a Calibration Technician in our physical lab, you will be working to calibrate and repair a wide variety physical test equipment such as pressure, temperature, weight, torque, humidity, and other devices.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment
- Create and verify calibration data sheets for technical content and accuracy based upon instruments specifications and approved calibration procedures
- Perform onsite calibrations at a customer’s location, occasionally out of town
- Complete work in a timely manner to ensure customer delivery expectations are met or exceeded
- Area housekeeping and cleanliness on a daily basis
- Maintain calibration standards
- Perform other laboratory support functions as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a calibration technician.
- Detailed experience with quality management system ISO 17025 highly desirable.
- A practical knowledge of physical test equipment is considered a minimum requirement.
- Organized, independent, self-motivated, forward thinker with the ability to solve problems.
- Must be proficient in using various types of computer software
- Must be organized, able to work under deadline driven stress and manage competing priorities
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MetTeam/MetCal experience would be an asset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Have a valid driver’s license

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
