Camp K-9 of Marin seeks Part-Time Camp Keeper: Join Our Team!
Camp K-9 of Marin, a full-service dog care facility, is currently seeking a responsible human interested in getting into the thriving dog care industry. The Keeper position includes spending time with Campers one-on-one for Private Sessions or S'more Sessions. This position also includes a lot of cleaning: sweeping, mopping, dishes, prepping cabins for new overnight guests, etc. We are searching for motivated dog lovers who enjoy getting dirty and don't mind hard work. Employees must be available to work weekends and are required to work some holidays as this is our busiest time, not to mention be VERY flexible on days available.

- Applicants should be comfortable interacting with different breeds.
- You should be able to lift 50 lbs. and expect to be physically active for your entire shift.
- You should be able to work equally well either independently or as a team.
- Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, please be responsible, honest, patient, and prompt; possess good written and verbal communication skills, a sense of humor, and most importantly, a positive attitude.
Description:
- Typical responsibilities may include one-on-one sessions, potty walks, cleaning cabins, washing dishes, light grooming, etc.
- General cleaning and maintenance chores will be assigned daily.
The pay range starts at $16.50 per hour. If you have worked with dogs previously wages will be commensurate with experience. Perks include paid time off, continuing education opportunities, personal dog day camp, and more!
