JOB SUMMARY
The Caregiver is responsible for providing compassionate, attentive, and individualized care to clients in their homes or care facilities. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting the physical and emotional well-being of clients, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
Assist with mobility, including transferring clients in and out of bed, wheelchair, and/or vehicles.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and changes in condition.
Document and report any significant changes in client health and/or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow care plans and protocols established by healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for clients.

Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and outgoing as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITES
Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving clients.
Basic understanding of personal care and hygiene standards.
CPR and First Aid Certification, preferred.
WORK ENVIORNMENT
This position may require working in various settings, including client’s homes and assisted living facilities.
Flexibility in hours is required, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
