Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in direct support roles, including memory care, assisted living, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients in daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist with memory care tasks, promoting cognitive engagement and emotional well-being.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
- Support clients in group home settings, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring immediate response to emergencies.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote interaction and mental stimulation.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and documentation practices.
- Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking for diverse dietary requirements is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain certification is required.
