Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assistance. This role requires a blend of practical skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and observing changes in health status.
- Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those with Alzheimer's or dementia care needs.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
- Document care provided and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or care manager.
- Collaborate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional is preferred.
- Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
