Wesley House Family Services is a nationally accredited not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting and nurturing children and strengthening families with services spanning Monroe County, Florida. Social services provided by WHFS include: Full case management, Intensive preservation services, Enhanced-in-home services, Intensive family reunification services, Prevention & intervention services, Foster care & adoption services, Health families Monroe and Inez martin child development center.
Full Case Manager Trainee will be doing-
- Completing pre-service training to become Child Welfare Case Manager certified
- Training and learning the Child Welfare Case Manager role
- Once certified Case Manager will be providing direct case management services (voluntary or court ordered)
- Home visitations
- Participate in dependency court proceedings
- On call responsibilities on a rotational basis
- Documentation
The successful Full Case Manager Trainee candidate will have-
- Will be attending the Child Welfare Case Manager certification program within the agency.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related area of study or a Master’s degree in social work or related area of study
- Experience in social services
- Independent decision making and flexible scheduling
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
