Fast-growing West Coast Self-Storage (www.westcoastselfstorage.com) is seeking a Cash Reconciliation Accountant to join our Accounting Team. You will be part of an accounting department that contributes to a strong service philosophy where people come first. What You'll Do
- Reconcile bank deposits and credit card payments daily to the general ledger for approximately 50 store locations
- Research and resolve discrepancies, including data input errors or system errors
- Build ongoing relationships with employees at locations you reconcile and contact them as questions arise (providing our stores with excellent customer service)
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Ensure all documentation related to cash reconciliation is accurate and complete
- Provide new store setup support
- Assist with projects or other duties as needed
What You'll Bring
- 2-4 years of bookkeeping experience or an Accounting Associate's degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Experience with the financial reconciliation process
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Excel
- NetSuite experience is a plus
DOE $25-$30 hourly
