Takeout Restaurant Cashier

At Finna-Eat we pride ourselves on providing friendly service and delicious food to go. We're a small, family-owned takeout spot looking for a reliable and upbeat cashier to join our team!
At this position we expect you to handle takeout orders, process payments, and provide excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate is organized, quick on their feet, and thrives in a busy environment.
**Responsibilities:
-Greet customers warmly and take accurate food orders (in-person and over the phone)
-Operate the register and handle all payment transactions
-Package orders for takeout in an efficient and organized manner
-Maintain a clean and organized front counter area
- Assist with light prep or cleaning tasks as needed
-Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed correctly and timely
-Uphold all food safety and hygiene standards
**Requirements
-Prior cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent communication and people skills
-Basic math and POS system skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Additional Requirements:
-You must be 18 or older.
-Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
-Must have at least an elementary level of English speaking proficiency.
-Must have a driver's license, or a reliable method of commuting to work.
