Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle cash and operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate change is given.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Proficient in retail math and basic math skills.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls when necessary.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for this role.
