HELP OTHERS AS A PEER SPECIALIST
- Inspire hope in individuals that recovery is not only possible, but probable.
- One on One Work in the community.
- Your job is designed to promote empowerment and self-determination.
- Teach people how to cope with the stress and barriers encountered when recovering from their mental health challenges.
Requirements Below:
- High school diploma or general equivalency degree (preference); AND
- Has maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, has maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience; AND
- Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state of Pennsylvania; AND
- Is able to attest that they have a mental health diagnosis and have reached a place in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in a similar situation
- Ability to use iPad for documentation
- Must Have Reliable Transportation
Job Type: Full Time
Compensation: $30,000 - $32,500 per year + performance-based incentives.
