The community you'll be caring for:
- Our care for patients extend to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families and providing on call, 24 hours, 7 days a week Chaplains for spiritual support.

The role you'll contribute:
The Chaplain provides pastoral ministry to patients, family and staff by determining and meeting their spiritual concerns and perceived needs.
The value you'll bring to the team:
- Visit patients and/or their families in the patient's hospital room or in casual encounters in various hospital areas.
- Responds to Code Blue and other emergencies immediately with less than two (2) complaints in six (6) months.
- Responds to requests for Chaplain's services within twenty-four hours.
- Visits surgery patients within forty-eight hours of admission or surgery.
- Conducts periodic support groups for clinical staff.
- Conducts or directs devotional services in the chapel on a scheduled basis available to patient's family and staff members.
- Conducts or attends various devotional activities with departments whose work schedule conflicts with Chapel services.
- To provide instruction and support to patients, family, staff and community through seminars, in-service sessions, support groups and individual counselling, to share information on coping skills for meeting (dis)stressful situations.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualification:
- High school diploma.
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum of four units (400 hours of supervised clinical experience per unit) of Clinical Pastoral Education.
- Has or is working toward Board Chaplain Certification (BCC).
- A M.Div. degree or equivalent education in an accredited Theological or Divinity School (M. Div. is a three year, 96 semester hour course of study)
- Certification in appropriate organizations fostering standards of professional competency preferred.
- Ministerial Ordination or License
- Ecclesiastical Endorsement
