Day Shift Charge Nurse, 32 hour week, must have RN/LPN Tennessee License
6AM to 6PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership:.The Charge Nurse leads the nursing team on their shift, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to professional standards of care.
- Patient Care:.They provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities, especially when other staff need support.
- Quality Assurance:.The Charge Nurse monitors patient outcomes, ensures compliance with safety and infection control protocols, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
- Communication and Documentation:.They maintain clear communication with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Administrative Duties:.This includes tasks like staffing schedules, supply management, and handling admissions and discharges.
- Mentorship and Training:.They may train new staff and provide ongoing support and guidance to the nursing team
