(Part-Time, Days) BHU Charge Nurse
Schedule: Full-time positions – 3 shifts per week; Part-Time positions – 2 shifts per week (Days 6:45 am to 7:15 pm and Nights 6:45 pm to 7:15 am), including rotating weekends and holidays. All schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

How you̢۪ll contribute
A Charge Nurse in BHU who excels in this role:
Proficient in assessing patient conditions and making timely determinations of patient needs.
Implements leadership and team coordination by supervising nursing staff, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring smooth unit operations by providing direct support to all staff members.
Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
Facilitate and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards through engagement and support of PI and other initiatives.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Qualifications:
What we̢۪re looking for
Applicants must have a current Nevada State RN license and possess a minimum of an associate̢۪s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
A minimum of (1) year working in an acute hospital setting is required.
