We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and service, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to create innovative menu items that meet customer preferences.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality for all dishes served.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Assist with bartending duties as needed during service hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in food handling, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with food service management practices is a plus.
