Chubb’s North America Claim’s Transformation team as a Claim System of Engagement Chubb Associate. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across Claims, Operations, and IT to support various claim applications. Your responsibilities will include maintaining access, enhancing operational efficiency, and communicating important updates and issues to the Claims organization. You will work closely with our claim platform leads to develop and implement innovative solutions that support best practices and adapt to changing business needs. This position requires a practical understanding of key claims applications, processes, and stakeholders, along with effective communication skills.
The ideal candidate will possess a process-oriented mindset, a readiness for change, and strong project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage provisioning and deactivation of access to core claim systems, handle bulk claim reassignment requests, and update claim system organizational structures. Work and coordinate with cross functional teams to achieve updates.
- Support the Aveksa user access recertification process by routing orphaned users to appropriate approvers and ensuring timely resolution to prevent inappropriate access revocation.
- Assist with registering claims on Temporary and Permanent No Coverage (TNC & PNC) policies and conduct periodic reviews to ensure proper claim transitions.
- Resolve CDW rollbacks by addressing mismatches between the claim system, CDW, and Atlas, including coverage coding corrections, policy refreshes, and policy reattachments.
- Provide status updates to claim disciplines on suspended payments, translating technical reports into actionable formats for business users.
- Troubleshoot issues and engage relevant support teams (IT, Claims Operations, Vendor) for resolution, while keeping business leaders and end users informed.
- Maintain accurate documentation (business process flows, end-user training material, system user guides, etc.) using tools like SharePoint, MS Teams, JIRA, and Visio.
- Conduct discovery, document current state processes, and identify significant opportunities for improvement throughout claims.
- Create or utilize business process documentation to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used in transactions.
- Coordinate with claims platform leads, business owners, IT development teams, and other stakeholders to define scope, requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor solutions as needed.
BA/BS degree preferred
Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance, particularly in Claims, is preferred
Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Analytical thinker with a logical approach to problem-solving and complex issues
Strong relationship-building skills, fostering a positive work environment
Ability to influence others using data and trend analysis, negotiate effectively, and motivate team members
Business acumen with an understanding of the impact of activities on business customers and the ability to apply business knowledge effectively
The pay range for the role is $60,000 to $75,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
