While we’re known nationally for our modern Mopar performance builds, we’re expanding our old school restoration division and looking for a skilled, detail-driven fabricator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and shape one-of-a-kind classic vehicle restorations the right way — with pride, precision, and craftsmanship.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fabricator with a strong background in classic car restoration to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will be able to handle everything from rust repair and panel fabrication to fitting aftermarket or OEM-style panels and more. We want someone who takes pride in quality, works clean, and is passionate about breathing new life into vintage rides.
Key Responsibilities:
- Metal fabrication, including rust repair, patch panel creation, and custom metalwork
- Sheet metal forming, MIG/TIG welding, and finishing
- Fitting and aligning body panels, bumpers, and trim components
- Working with frame straightening, subframes, and custom mounts as needed
- Collaborating with painters, mechanics, and restoration leads to ensure proper fit and finish
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive fabrication, preferably in classic car restoration
- Strong MIG welding skills (TIG a plus)
- Ability to fabricate panels from scratch using basic hand tools, brakes, shears, and English wheel
- Familiarity with old-school American muscle cars, hot rods, and vintage trucks
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
- Own tools preferred, but shop has equipment and specialty tools available
Preferred Skills (not required):
- Experience with full frame-off restorations
- Ability to perform light mechanical or electrical tasks
- Familiarity with custom fabrication for performance applications
Compensation:
Based on experience — competitive hourly pay or flat-rate options available. Potential for advancement and project leadership for the right candidate.
