Tennessee Ridge Elementary School in Tennessee Ridge, TN, is a close-knit campus of roughly 350 students. TRES is seeking a warm, energetic Pre-K Assistant to partner with our lead Pre-K teacher in nurturing the academic, social, and emotional growth of our youngest learners. In this role, you will help plan and implement developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned activities that spark curiosity and build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning. You'll supervise and guide children through classroom tasks, outdoor play, and daily transitions, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment while maintaining organized learning centers and materials. As part of our small, collaborative faculty set amid Tennessee Ridge's rolling fields and tight-knit community, you will document student progress, communicate regularly with families, and support individualized accommodations alongside support staff (SLP, counselor, social worker, and nurse). Your passion for early childhood education and ability to foster positive, growth-mindset interactions will help every Pre-K student thrive.
