BankVista is seeking a Client Service Lead who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. In this key leadership role, you will oversee daily client service operations, guide and mentor team members, and ensure a high standard of service delivery aligned with our values.
The ideal candidate will bring strong cash-handling experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to foster a positive and efficient work environment. You will provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality service to clients, offering product and service recommendations tailored to their needs and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide clients with prompt, courteous, efficient, high-quality services.
- Perform teller transaction duties accurately.
- Supervise the client service staff and direct day-to-day operational activities within the client service area.
- Assist internal and external clients with banking related inquiries.
- Coach, train and develop client service staff. Provide work direction and ongoing feedback to staff.
- Establish weekly schedules for client service staff and ensure appropriate staffing coverage for peak hours.
- Ensure Client Service Representatives are performing their jobs in conformance with BankVista’s process and procedure.
- Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding all BankVista deposit related products and services.
- Evaluates and reviews staff performance by preparing periodic performance reviews jointly with Retail Banking Officer.
- Facilitate a routine department meeting around team goals, objectives, and changes.
- Perform vault and TCR custodian duties and Federal Reserve cash selling and ordering.
- Assist in preparing for audits and regulatory examinations.
- The Sartell branch is open 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 8:00am to 12:00 pm. Hours will include rotating Saturday's (approx. every fourth weekend). Hours worked on Saturday's are paid at time & a half. Candidates must be available to work approximately 40 hours per week during these time frames.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years previous banking or cash-handling experience required.
- Proven leadership and communication skills. At least 2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Commitment to teamwork and client satisfaction.
