Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process within established scope and standards of practice.
- Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families as appropriate.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort needs.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial or spiritual support.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families tailored to their age, culture, and condition.
- Advocate for patients by promoting safety, dignity, and holistic care.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or appropriate compact state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage stressful situations, and take appropriate action.
