In our time of growth, we are seeking a Clinical Data Specialist.
Work Location(s): Bradenton, FL
As part of this role, you will
- Collects and collates data related to clinical quality, operational processes, patient satisfaction, and other areas, as assigned.
- Maintains clinical database regarding obstetrics, chronic diseases, and other areas assigned.
- Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual P.I. reports.
- Maintains clinical outcome data assigned.
- Maintains clinical process data as assigned.
- Develop spreadsheets and databases necessary for data maintenance.
- Performs site tracers to assure safety compliance.
- Maintains files of external survey reports and internal tracers.
- Gathering monthly reports from nursing leadership creates summary documents.
- Responsible for the preparation of new and renewal applications for State and Federal CUA licenses, Biomedical Waste Permits, and X-ray permits.
- Reviews Clinical Records for key measures & Peer Review.
- Promotes the concept of providing an Exceptional Experience to Everyone, Every Time
- Completes day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth operation of MCR
- Supports the mission and vision of MCR Health
- Adheres to all MCR policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Conducts ongoing reviews of patient care practices (on-site) and functions to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance
- Collects data on required medical staff measurement and assessment activities
- Utilizes resources from other departments (e.g., system trackers and site safety checklists)
- Conduct site visits and record evaluations & observations to assess readiness
- Travel between clinical sites (50%)
What you need to bring to this role:
- High School Graduate or GED
- CNA, MA, or LPN Licenses (Preferred)
- 2-3 years' experience in a Medical Office setting
- Proven experience in conducting medical tests in a healthcare setting
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and computer software applications
