Position Summary:
- Position: Clinical Supervisor Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: Contractor with an estimated monthly commitment is 4-5 hours (1-hour per week) to review cases with the Director of Psychotherapy, and a quarterly review, as needed, for quality & compliance.

We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) to join our team at Caring People Home Healthcare. The Clinical Supervisor – Psychotherapy is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed in the state of New Jersey with an active NPI, to be the provider of record for psychotherapy services billed under the “incident to” provision of Medicare Part B. This role does not require direct patient care, direct supervision nor in-office presence. The Clinical Supervisor will oversee and support the billing compliance for approximately five (5) independently licensed psychotherapists (LSW) who already have clinical supervision, provided by Director of Psychotherapy (LCSW) in place per NJ State guidelines

Responsibilities
- Serve as a supervisory and billing support for LSW provided Psychotherapy services billed to the patient’s Medicare Part B benefit.
- Serve as the provider of record for Medicare billing purposes under “incident to” guidelines.
- Ensure documentation and processes meet CMS requirements for compliant billing in collaboration with the Director of Psychotherapy (LCSW).
- Review and co-sign, as necessary, documentation prepared by psychotherapists to support billing claims, per CMS guidelines, in collaboration with the Director of Psychotherapy (LCSW).
- Communicate quarterly with administrative billing staff and psychotherapists regarding any changes in billing policies, documentation expectations, or regulatory updates regarding CMS, in collaboration with the Director of Psychotherapy (LCSW).
- General Supervision of Licensed Social Workers, per CMS Guidelines

Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Graduate degree from an accredited program with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Including a minimum of 500 faculty-supervised clinical hours in a PMHNP role, per National certification standards
- Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)
- Advanced Practice Nursing License in the state of NJ
- Familiarity with CMS Behavioral Health guidelines, and good standing with CMS
- National Provider Identification Number (NPI), enrolled with Medicare Part B
