Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained, compliant with regulations, and operating efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for fleet management.
- Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal operation.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding fleet operations.
- Oversee fuel management systems and monitor fuel consumption.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining safety standards.
- Prepare reports on fleet performance metrics and present findings to upper management.
- Manage relationships with vendors for vehicle repairs, maintenance services, and parts procurement.
- Train and supervise fleet staff on best practices in vehicle operation and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role within logistics or transportation industries.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in fleet management are a plus.
Compensation:
SALARY, BONUS AND COMMISSON COMBINATION OF BOTH.
ON TARGET EARNINGS $60,000 TO $150,000

Pay: $60,024.54 - $150,000.00 per year
