Prior experience working for Commercial Roofing Contractor is required for consideration.
Commercial Roofing Estimator responsible for selling, pricing, and negotiating contracts for commercial roof projects.
Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Estimate compile bids and generate proposals accurately and are completed on time.
- Make site visits to collect bidding information and/or from Plans/Specs for re-roof projects.
- Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating prices.
- Review/prepare proposed project bids in accordance with company bidding procedures with essential overall cost accuracy.
- Participate in pre and post review project meetings.
- Complete project closeout documents.
- Cultivate customer relationships that will assist in winning profitable repeat business.
- Maintain communication with project contacts throughout the entire project from start to finish.
- Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects.
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers' requirements for warranty.
- Experience estimating on commercial/industrial roofs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel Outlook, Word.
- Must be motivated and a “self-starter” with a professional appearance.
- Ability to give instructions and clearly explain problems or situations.
- Must be team orientated.
