- You will make sure the facility amenities are proactively maintained for a high-quality member experience.
- You will assist new members joining the community to learn the ropes and will help trouble-shoot issues for members as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Community Associate
Work Location: Provident1898, 411 West Chapel Hill Street, Suite C2, Durham, NC 27701
Work Schedule: Part-time. Weekdays, excluding holidays. 20 hours per week, with majority of hours between 8:30am-5pm M-F, and occasional evenings
Reports to: Community Manager
Job Duties: The Community Associate will be primarily responsible for assisting new members joining the Provident1898 community and ensuring the shared workplace services and facilities are proactively maintained for a high-quality member experience. The following are the primary job duties; other duties may be assigned by virtue of the position:
- Being physically present in the space according to an agreed schedule
- Serve as front desk concierge including greeting members and guests and notifying members of visitors
- Onboard and orient new members following a hand-off from Community Manager
- Trouble-shoot member issues, including real-time assistance as well as creating/maintaining self-help guidance/signage
- Receive and distribute member mail and packages
- Track and restock inventory of office and kitchen supplies
- Keep the common areas organized and tidy, including signage, furniture arrangements, clean surfaces, and indoor plant maintenance
- Input and track facility work order requests with building management
- Support Community Manager to create community relationships among/with members through in-person and digital activities
- Support Community Manager with external (non-member) events
- Monitor Provident1898 social media and digital footprint for customer engagement opportunities
Job Qualifications:
- Experienced with member services, hospitality, or other in-person customer services role
- Able to work in person at the Provident1898 facility
- 18 years or older, with reliable transportation, and an iPhone or Android smartphone
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
