We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Company Recruiter to join our team, lead end-to-end recruitment, and support staff development through our HRIS system. This role is based in our Greensboro or Wilmington, NC office, with light travel required.
Job Description:
As a Company Recruiter, you will spearhead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent for roles such as painters, bodymen, sanders, and maskers. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to meet staffing needs and align with Maaco’s culture and goals. Additionally, you will support staff development by managing key HRIS modules to enhance performance and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates for automotive repair roles.
- Write and post compelling job descriptions on platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry-specific job boards.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate fit for technical and cultural alignment.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage candidate communications, offer negotiations, and reference checks.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and manage candidate pipelines.
Secondary Duties:
- Administer and maintain Performance and Succession modules in the Arcoro/Infinity HRIS system.
- Support staff development by tracking performance metrics and assisting with employee development plans.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to align succession planning with organizational goals.
- Provide training and support to managers on HRIS tools for performance reviews and career pathing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a recruiter, specifically in the automotive repair or similar industry (e.g., recruiting for painters, bodymen, sanders, maskers, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) tools and familiarity with HRIS platforms (Arcoro/Infinity preferred).
- Ability to evaluate technical skills (e.g., auto body repair) and soft skills effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of current hiring trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
