Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team. We are a Career College in East County. The candidate will inform and advise the faculty and staff of all relevant rules and guidelines set by state, federal, accreditation, and other regulatory bodies. They will stay informed with current regulations, develop programs and practices to help meet guidelines, monitor these practices, and maintain all records required to certify compliance. Establish a relationship and communicate with the appropriate regulatory organizations.

Duties include:

· Responsible for compliance with all state and federal regulations, including Title IV and Veteran Benefits.

· Assist the Vice President of Operations with Self-Study and Reaffirmation of Accreditations.

· Assist the Compliance Director with all applications, including new applications, and responses to the school accreditor.

· Set and administer policy and procedure to ensure student retention.

· Amend the School Catalog and Student Handbook when necessary.

· Ensure all placement policies and procedures are followed and new regulations are implemented.

· Ensure compliance with the employee handbook and develop and assist the Vice President of Operations with new policies when needed.

· Work with the Director of Education in keeping instructor training material updated as required.

· Work with instructors and the Director of Education on curriculum development.

· Ensure new staff and instructors are oriented to the school’s policies and procedures as they pertain to their department

· Ensure all marketing materials, websites, PPC landing pages, and advertising

follows state, Federal, and accreditation standards.

· Ensure all admissions procedures are followed

· Ensure all admission documents used in the enrollment process comply.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ experience in postsecondary education administration. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
