Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the construction site, supervising team members, and ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This role requires a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency in construction management software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure project goals are met.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and labor teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera and HeavyBid for project planning and tracking.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the job site to monitor progress and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide training and support to team members on equipment use, including the operation of an ohmmeter.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate construction estimates and schedules.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and tools.
- Proficient in using construction management software such as Primavera and HeavyBid.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
