Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective leadership and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members.
Duties
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including sales, estimating, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets while ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Coordinate project schedules
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Oversee project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Implement time management strategies to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide leadership to project teams by fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving project goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Proficiency in with Xactimate estimating software is plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and relevant construction regulations.
- Exceptional time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
