Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities remain in excellent condition, providing a safe and functional environment for all.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure proper functioning of facilities.
- Execute minor electrical repairs, plumbing tasks, and carpentry work as needed.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete tasks, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical testing.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, and basic carpentry techniques.
- Experience using an ohmmeter for electrical testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
