Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn various aspects of construction. This role involves working on diverse projects, assisting in the completion of tasks, and ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Assist in the installation of drywall, trim carpentry, and cabinetry.
- Conduct construction painting as needed to finish projects.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Participate in construction inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Fabricate materials as required for specific tasks.
- Support plumbing activities by assisting with installations and repairs.
- Operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with trim carpentry, drywall installation, cabinet installation, construction painting, welding, construction estimating, fabrication, and plumbing is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
