What you’ll do:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Contracts Specialist to work with our Vice President of Contracts & Grants to administer ARI’s project portfolio. This involves managing the entire contract life cycle, including (but not limited to) pre-award (coordinating stakeholders, assisting with the management of vendors and evaluation/selection processes, preparing awards and other contracts documentation) and post-award (contract administration, deliverable/documentation management, contract action prep/management, and close-out administration).
WHO YOU ARE:
You’re a person with a customer-centric attitude towards contracting, you understand how to get everyone at the table to “yes,” and the numerous paths that could be taken to get there. You’ve had experience working with teams that have a variety of stakeholders (i.e. government, university, industry… or a combination). You’ve worked with federal government clients to figure out contract pathways and successfully negotiated and administered them. You’ve worked with some type of Federal Government agreements (traditional grants [CFR] and contracts [FAR/DFAR] or non-traditional agreements [OTA, PIA, etc.]).
You’re OK with being someone who knows not only how to navigate the complexities of federal grants and contracts, but to find innovative and new ways to satisfy their requirements. You’re also OK with jumping in and helping work through any Business Operations problem when needed. You love helping the customer and the project managers come to consensus and solve critical issues for our nation’s future.
