Description
Position Purpose:
The controller is responsible for exercising sound judgement to make independent discretionary decisions regarding the dealership’s overall financial and office workflow.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to all the departments to produce increased revenue, control expense.
- Ensure that the accounting records are maintained in an orderly, current and accurate condition.
- Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are followed.
- Assist operations with dealership forecasting and budgeting.
- Audit the balance sheets and schedules regularly and address and possible problems.
- Ensure that the Doc is prepared daily in a timely manner and is accurate.
- Ensure timely completion of all financial statements, monthly work papers and reports and resolve any issues.
- Reconcile bank daily and post funding.
- Payoff flooring daily.
- Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
- Special projects assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Very strong communication skills.
- Positive attitude, Professionalism.
- Understand general ledger.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
