At Crossroads Housing, we believe that everyone needs safe, stable housing—and we work tirelessly to end homelessness and make that happen right here in Mason County. As our Coordinated Entry & Outreach Specialist, you’ll be the front door to services, connecting individuals and families experiencing homelessness (or at risk) to the resources and support they need.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
•Meet people where they are—literally! From shelters to foodvanks to sidewalks and all the in between, you’ll bring compassion and connection to our community.
•Complete Coordinated Entry assessments to match clients with housing programs and resources.
•Provide outreach to individuals who may not yet be connected to services, offering a warm handoff to housing, healthcare, and other supports.
•Work with partner agencies to ensure clients get wraparound services that break down barriers to stability.
•Keep accurate records, because good data = better service for everyone.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
•A people person with a genuine passion for helping others.
•A good communicator who can listen without judgment and build trust quickly.
•Comfortable working both in the office and out in the field.
•Organized, adaptable, and ready for each day to look a little different from the last.
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED SKILL & BACKGROUND:
•Spanish-speaking candidates
•Individuals with lived experience of homelessness or housing instability are strongly encouraged to apply.
•Experience in social services, outreach, or housing work is a plus—but the right heart and drive matter most.
