Our Development Team Seeks a Coordinator
The Development Coordinator supports RMHCR’s Development team by assisting with community engagement and donor relations initiatives, with a special focus on strengthening our partnership with McDonald’s. This role plays an important part in advancing RMHCR’s fundraising efforts, building local connections, and fostering meaningful relationships throughout the community. Duties
- Assist in the planning and execution of RMHCR events, including signature events, third-party fundraisers, and stewardship gatherings, by coordinating logistics and providing on-site support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the database, including contact information, communication history, and engagement tracking for appeals, email campaigns, newsletters, and targeted outreach.
- Help maintain an engaging social media presence for RMHCR across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn by creating content, capturing photos and videos, and sharing impactful stories.
- Ensure the RMHCR website is updated regularly to reflect current initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Development Team to produce effective print and digital materials, including appeals, invitations, brochures, infographics, and other communications pieces.
- Assist with the coordination and promotion of Read-a-Thon fundraisers.
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed to support RMHCR’s mission and goals.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience, preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in development, fundraising, community engagement, or event coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with donor database systems (e.g., DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge) and comfort learning new technology.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work quality.
- Experienced in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems (e.g., Google Analytics, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).

Pay: $22.66 per hour
