Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 global law firm, is seeking a Counsel-level Patent Attorney with at least two years of patent prosecution experience to join its dynamic and highly regarded Intellectual Property practice. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong and strategically minded attorney interested in long-term career growth, with a pathway to Senior Counsel and potential future consideration for Partnership based on performance and firm needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering degree or closely related field (required)
- Minimum 2 years of patent prosecution experience, preferably with a focus on:
- 5G, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Processor and memory systems
- Image processing and RF front-end systems
- Registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligible to register
- Admitted to and in good standing with a U.S. Bar (or eligible to waive in)
- Strong academic credentials and exceptional analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Technical Domain Experience:
- Autonomous vehicles
- Robotics
- Natural language processing
- Wireless communications
- Computer vision
- Other AI-related technologies
Additional Experience:
- Experience managing global patent portfolios and advising clients on strategic IP matters is highly preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel to translate innovation into strategic patent protection
