Job Title: Counselor Aide Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent; valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
- Prior supervision experience of at least 1 year is highly preferred.
- Urine Specimen Collection certification, Breath Alcohol Technician certification, Mandatory Reporter certification, Medication Management Training, Serv-Safe Certification, Non-violent crisis intervention training, and CPR required within 6 months of hire.
Reporting Supervisor: Associate Director for Treatment Services
Duties:
- Supervision of Counselor Aides and Kitchen Supervisor which is to include all related duties such as: scheduling, performance evaluations, ongoing training, and monthly meetings.
- Assist residential program staff in carrying out duties.
- Participate in supervised individual, group, and other program interventions.
- Perform other aspects of program services including case file management, urinalysis collection, client supervision and transporting, complete room searches as needed, mediate interactions of clients as needed, provide detailed documentation of client activity.
- Supervise and document the client’s self-administration of authorized medications.
- Supervise residential facility in absence of other staff and provide overnight, weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
- Adhere to the SOP manual and hold clients accountable for policies and procedures of residential
- Attend required trainings, aide meetings, supervision meetings, and complete assigned Relias training.
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all client treatment in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and rules (e.g. 42-CFR-2 for substance abuse clients).
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment: Residential treatment setting with minimal exposure to noise or temperature variation.
Physical Demands: Frequent periods of sitting; occasional lifting, standing, and bending.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.82 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
