Summary
As a Behavioral Health Counselor at Recovia, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and effective mental health counseling. This position is essential for helping patients navigate their challenges and work towards long-term recovery and improved quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients dealing with mental health issues.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care for each patient.
- Support patients in understanding their conditions and developing coping strategies.
- Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to empower patients with knowledge about their mental health.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
- Valid state licensure as a counselor or therapist is essential.
