Job Overview
South Scottsdale neighborhood craft beer taproom and wine bar is looking for the right person to join our team. We rarely hire so this is a great opportunity to get in before next season. We are looking for someone to handle 3-4 shifts per week of 6-8hrs each shift. Pay will be hourly + Tips.
Responsibilities
- Be a master of your craft. Study the wine list and tap lists, they change weekly.
- Be able to open or close the business solo.
- Stocking and facing the coolers and wine retail shelves daily.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area.
- Engage with customers, learn their names and build regular clientele.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service.
- We rotate food trucks so you will not be responsible for serving food.
Requirements
- Always having a positive can do attitude.
- Title IV Liquor Certification
- Ability to manage yourself, your time and your responsibilities. We don't micro manage.
- Basic wine knowledge is a must. Do not apply if you do not know basics of wine service & wine sales. You will be required to take a simple test during the interview.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and craft beer styles.
- Outgoing personality a must. We are a neighborhood bar with a lot of regulars from all walks of life.
Available shifts are currently one weekend and 3 weekday shifts. Beginning employees will only work days until they are comfortable with closing. Business is open Noon-Midnight daily.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
