Job Description:
- Building custom crates with saws, nail & staple guns
- Tape measure & basic math skills (fractions, etc.)
- On-site crating, packaging, labeling, completing required paperwork/measurements of customer product
- Following instructions, Beaver Packaging Policies & Procedures and company standards
- Experience driver forklift (sit down/propane)
- Must have a valid driver's license to operate Beaver Packaging car or 16’, 24' truck
- Excellent customer communication (polite & professional)
- Basic to average Microsoft Office skills
- Dangerous Goods/Restricted Articles (IATA, IMO & DOT) added value
Requirements:
- Good communication skills - verbal & written
- Reliable / dependable transportation to work with good attendance
- Physically able to bend, kneel, lift 50 + pounds, etc.
- Following verbal direction & company procedures
- DOT physical and drug testing
- Background check
- Box truck experience with C Class license and air break endorsement a plus
- Travel out of state for training as needed
