Job Description:
As Crew Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of tree care professionals, managing job sites, ensuring safe operation of equipment, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors and leading a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of tree crews on residential and commercial job sites
- Operate and direct use of lifts, skid steers, excavators, chainsaws, and other tree equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
- Maintain a professional and efficient work environment
- Communicate clearly with management and clients as needed
- Perform and/or supervise tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, and cleanup
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the tree care industry
- Proficient in operating lifts, skids, excavators, and chainsaws
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
Position Details:
- Full-time hours (Monday–Friday, occasional weekends as needed)
- 1099 subcontractor position – must be able to provide own insurance and manage tax obligations
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 per hour
