Columbia County Health & Human Services is recruiting for a Social Worker that focuses on crisis situations in the Division of Behavioral Health and Long Term Support. Position involves working with individuals of all ages with mental illness or substance misuse disorders to promote and support their recovery. This position within the crisis team would need to have a particular interest and knowledge base of working with individuals that struggle with substance misuse. Knowledge of wraparound, community services, person centered planning, trauma informed care, and facilitating teams is preferred. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited Social Work Degree Program. Must be certified/licensed under Wis. Stats. §457 or eligible to obtain social work certification/licensure within one year of hire and maintain licensure throughout employment; you must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Service program. Requires possession of valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and personal transportation. There is a potential for advanced practice social workers to obtain supervision hours. Starting wage: $30.83 per hour, for certified Social Workers and $28.95 per hour for Case Managers, until certification obtained.
