Position Overview
Are you a compassionate and bilingual professional with strong communication skills in Burmese and English? Join a dedicated healthcare team in Indianapolis as a Customer Service Representative, where you'll play a key role in connecting members with the care, resources, and support they need.
In this role, you will assist members and providers by phone, addressing inquiries related to services, claims, transportation, pharmacy, eligibility, and more. Your ability to clearly communicate and problem-solve will directly impact member satisfaction and care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from members and providers with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist members with:
- Finding providers/services
- Scheduling transportation
- Pharmacy and billing issues
- Eligibility and benefits verification
- Health assessments and closing care gaps
- Accessing community resources and referrals
- Support providers with claims, benefits, and eligibility queries.
- Ensure accurate documentation and call handling per department standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company benefits and processes.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (phone, chat, email, or in-person)
- Fluency in Burmese – Required
- High School Diploma (no proof required upon submission)
- Must be a local resident of Indianapolis, IN
- Candidate must be aware of and consent to submission for this role
Additional Information
- Two late shifts per week required for bilingual agents
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Contractors must meet the facility’s required hourly rate of $18.00/hr
