JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Customer Quality Auditor (CQA) drives for zero defects in WN machines by reviewing completed equipment from the viewpoint of a customer. The CQA Auditor works with cross-functional teams and multiple departments to develop root cause analysis and corrective actions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts CQA audits on finished machines from the customer’s viewpoint using WN standards in an Excel based scorecard. (random sample audits are conducted on machines that are ready to ship to customers)
- Reviews findings from audits and works with cross functional teams to implement continuous improvement activities
- Conducts and keeps record of PDIs (Pre Delivery Inspections) of selected equipment to ensure that equipment with sales orders are ready to ship and meet WN quality standards
- Works closely with Logistics, Production and Repair/Restore teams to facilitate that any necessary rework is completed in an efficient manner to meet time-based shipping targets
- Conducts regularly scheduled P/M (Preventative Maintenance) activities on selected equipment to maintain stock on hand in best possible condition for fulfilling sales orders
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Additional years of experience or education may be substituted for each other as determined by Human Resources.
- Associates’ Degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
- 3 years of experience in construction equipment from the function of Quality, Production, or Field.
- Detail orientated, able to work independently, and have strong problem solving skills.
- Possess the ability to communicate orally and in writing to people with varying backgrounds.
- Working computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP.
