Position Summary: The customer service representative (CSR) works with new and existing customer accounts to maintain strong working relationships and ensure smooth fulfillment of order requests. CSR receives and responds to incoming customer phone calls and emails, answering questions or referring them to other departments for assistance with products or services. Fields customer complaints or challenges, oversees successful execution of special-order requests, and advises on and initiates product credit and returns. Assigned CSR will support commercial-industry sales, working closely with operations and sales management to maintain B2B relationships, assist with inside sales initiatives, navigate inventory availability inquiries, and coordinate the execution of large project orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives and enters customer orders.
- Verifies purchase orders for accuracy on pricing, product description, bill-to info and more.
- Provides information concerning pricing, discontinuance, product availability, and lead time.
- Assists with planning and executing large projects with sales manager and customer.
- Answers and places phone calls, manages email, and coordinates customer responses with appropriate departments.
- Partners with marketing and sales teams to provide personal, first-point-of-contact experience to sale leads
- Collaborates with operations management to help execute projects, reports, and other data related assignments in support of retail sales.
- Maintains customer order records within ERP, ensuring accuracy and timely maintenance.
- Assists with inside sales initiatives by qualifying leads and conducting regular outreach.
- Manages customer issues, creates ticket and RMA records, and coordinates resolution.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service required.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
- Strong skills reading and creating spreadsheets and reports (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Collaborative and approachable, able to develop strong working relationships.
- Highly responsive, ability to work under pressure.
- Computer and phone technology proficiency.
- High school GED. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
