Job Description: Customer Service/Sales Associate
Location: Global Wildlife Center
Overview: Join our team at Global Wildlife Center, one of the largest free-roaming animal preserves in the nation! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work in our Box Office and Gift Shop.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors, assisting with ticket purchases and gift shop transactions.
- Sales: Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the products and services offered to assist customers effectively.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting inventory checks.
- Cleanliness: Ensure the Box Office and Gift Shop are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Cross-Training: Be prepared to assist with other tasks as needed, including supporting tour guides and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Positive Attitude: Maintain an upbeat and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with visitors.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Language Skills: Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
