Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Air Force’s Enterprise Supply Chain Analysis, Planning and Execution (ESCAPE) program. This role will be embedded within the Functional System Management Office (FSMO) and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures across ESCAPE’s cloud-based Operational Data Store (ODS) and related platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Execute cybersecurity operations in alignment with DoD, AF, and Federal cybersecurity policies and frameworks
Conduct periodic security assessments, vulnerability scans, and code reviews across all environments prior to promotion from development to higher environments.
Maintain and update the System Security Plan (SSP), POA&Ms, and other ATO-related documentation.
Implement and enforce least-privilege access, role-based access control, and separation of duties for privileged accounts.
Ensure compliance with Cloud One credentialing, CAC-based multi-factor authentication, and credential expiry policies.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
Support the transition to automated tools such as DD2875 for access management and documentation.
Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate remediation efforts.
Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
DoDM 8140.03/8570.01 IA Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM).
Experience with cloud security (preferably Azure GovCloud), DevSecOps, and automated security testing tools.
Strong understanding of ATO processes, RMF, and FedRAMP compliance.
Familiarity with tools such as JFrog, Xray, and other vulnerability scanning platforms.
Experience supporting Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) or similar logistics modernization programs.
Knowledge of ESCAPE architecture, data flows, and integration points.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training.

2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, preferably within DoD or federal environment
Clearance
Secret (Preferred)
