As a Data Analyst, you’ll work at the intersection of healthcare, policy, and technology—leveraging tools like Snowflake, Amazon Data Bricks, and Power BI to uncover critical insights that guide program improvements, enhance system performance, and support informed decision-making.
In this role, you’ll dive deep into data from diverse sources—such as Splunk, Salesforce, and Redash—to identify patterns, monitor trends, and detect anomalies impacting agent/broker operations and consumer experiences. You’ll apply advanced data science techniques and statistical analysis to surface meaningful findings, which you’ll transform into actionable reports and compelling visualizations for business and technical stakeholders. As part of a collaborative and mission-driven team, you’ll help shape strategies that directly influence marketplace functionality, compliance, and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
- Collect, process, and analyze data from multiple sources using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Salesforce, Amazon Data Bricks, SAS, Redash, EDAP, Snowflake, MS Power BI, MarkLogic, XQuery, and JavaScript.
- Utilize advanced data science, statistical, and mathematics techniques to interrogate data.
- Analyze AB data to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies.
Reporting:
- Write detailed and comprehensive reports on findings from data analysis.
- Present data in creative and visually compelling ways to effectively communicate insights.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, including business and technical leads.
Qualifications:
- 1 year+ of Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) or Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE) Marketplace data.
- Databricks, Snowflake, MarkLogic, PowerBI (for reporting), Excel for graphics and/or Tableau
- Must have ABC QI A/B industry knowledge
- Experience with Marketplace data and data tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Salesforce, Amazon Data Bricks, SAS, Sandbox, Snowflake, MS Power BI and MarkLogic.
- Experience with interrogating data using advanced data science, statistical, and mathematics techniques
- Experience with manipulating data sets to uncover trends and extract insights.
- Experience in presenting data in creative and visually compelling ways to communicate findings with data visualization tools such as Redash, MS Power BI, or Tableau.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with relevant data applications and tools including Splunk, NewRelic, Salesforce
- Experience with languages and tools for data science development, including Python, Scala, R, SQL, or SAS.
- Experience with Big Data development, specifically in the areas of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP).
- Familiarity with the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and health insurance industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Location : 100% remote (core EST hours)
Salary Range: $100,000- $125,000
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
