Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our client's team at the Florida Department of Education office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data within our systems. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our databases and ensuring efficient operations. The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with various departments to support data collection, filing, and administrative tasks. This position will also requires attend the call center.
Duties
- Input and update data in database systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Perform data entry tasks, including order entry and transcription of documents.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
- Collect data from various sources and ensure it is accurately recorded.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables and manage spreadsheets.
- Assist in clerical tasks as needed, providing administrative support to team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Skills
- Proficient in data entry with strong typing skills.
- Familiarity with databases and ERP systems is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling numerical data accurately.
- Prior office experience or clerical experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
