JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Pull data from electronic source documents and enter it, via a keyboard, into the computer by following database commands and the format displayed on the screen.
2. Compare data entered into the computer against the electronic source documents from which it was pulled and then correct, as applicable, by re-entering it into the computer via a verification format provided.
3. Proofreads electronic documents for accuracy and completeness.
4. Work independently while remaining a collaborative and productive member of a team.
5. Perform data verification routines in accordance with company procedures, including reviewing discrepancies in data received, requesting clarification as needed, or advising Supervisor of issues related to data.
6. Provide input during team meetings regarding manual revisions, training revisions, department policies and department updates.
7. Helps with projects for other departments during any down time our department experiences.
EDUCATION:
Degree preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years of experience in data entry, primarily entering alpha/numerical data.

1. Above average to excellent computer skills.
2. Accurate data entry speed of 50-65 wpm (must demonstrate competency by passing an alpha/numeric (10 key) data entry test).
3. Ability to work with confidential information in a responsible manner.
4. Thorough proofreading skills.
5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
6. Ability to work at a fast, focused pace and meet deadlines.
7. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
8. Interact professionally with other associates.
